Welcome to Helping Hands and Hooves, a therapeutic horseback riding program set on a working farm in Mattapoisett, MA. Julie Craig and Debbi Dyson lead a group of volunteers who provide special needs adults with individualized support that builds confidence, coordination, and camaraderie.

Students learn basic riding skills on Teddy, the farm’s gentle quarterhorse. The year round program includes lessons in the ring as well as walks through the picturesque wooded trails and to a beach near the farm.
